Axefx has opposite of latency in reaper

So I’ve been happily recording using the axefx 2 and enjoying it immensely. One thing I’ve noticed though is that I have the opposite of latency when I record in reaper: the axe is a few mili seconds BEFORE the music I am recording over. This doesn’t happen with the mic on my m audio fast track so I’m guessing it’s an axe related issue. I’ve been having to shift the recordings I do right by just a tiny bit.
